A Butterfly Grows Book

This softcover Level 2 science reader by Stephen Swinburne tells the story of a butterfly’s life from its own perspective. The book focuses mostly on the life of the iconic monarch butterfly but has a couple of photographs of the viceroy as well (a butterfly that looks very similar to the monarch). Suitable for readers ages 5-7, this 22 page book is full of beautiful photographs and includes a page of higher order thinking questions about the information to encourage kids to think deeply about what they’ve read.
